The game is played according to the usual international football rules. All games are officiated by official referees.
Eligibility:
U10 age group 2016/2017 or 2015/2016 for girls.
U11 age group 2015/2016 or 2014/2015 for girls.
All players must be in possession of an official player ID. The player passes or the digital eligibility list must be handed in to the tournament management together with a completed tournament score sheet before the start of the tournament. The players' shirt numbers must match the information on the match report sheet. The referees or the tournament management will check the players' eligibility during the tournament.
The use of guest players is allowed if it is kept within limits (max. 3 players per team) and the player has a playing permit and a player pass for the period of the Chairman Cup. Playing permission means that there is a written confirmation from the parent club that the player (name, date of birth) is entitled to play for the respective club during the Chairman Cup.
Game Ban:
Depending on the discretion of the referee, a player may be excluded with a 2min time penalty during the game
The player may return to the game after the time penalty has expired.
A 2nd expulsion for time is not allowed! For the excluded time the concerned team is not allowed to use another player and therefore has to continue playing in the corresponding shorthanded. Only the referee may allow the player to re-enter the game after the time penalty has expired.
If a player receives the red card, it means exclusion for the game. However, if there is a gross violation, such as assault gross unsportsmanlike conduct or a serious foul, the tournament committee can determine a complete tournament exclusion. This is also associated with a report of the incident to the respective soccer association.
Player change:
Player substitutions may only be made during a stoppage in play and with the knowledge of the referee.
A substituted player may be substituted back for the match in progress.
Matchfield:
small field (55 x 40m) with 7 players (6 +1).
All pitches are natural grass.
Ball:
This will be provided by the tournament management. A ball of the size "5 Light" (350 g) is used.
Training balls cannot be provided by the organizer. These must be brought by the respective clubs themselves.
Jerseys:
The team named first in the match pairing determines the jersey color. If possible, please bring two sets of jerseys of different colors.
If necessary, colored shirts will be used, these will be provided by the tournament management on site.

Preliminary round matches:

Played in 8 groups of six, with everyone competing against everyone else.
Playing time: 75 minutes (5 games of 15 minutes each)
The winner of a match receives 3 points, the loser 0 points, in the event of a draw both teams receive 1 point.
The team named first in the pairing chooses the side and kicks off.
If a team does not turn up on the date specified in the fixture list, the match will be scored 3:0 and 3 points awarded to the opposing team.
Each team manager is responsible for the corresponding tournament/game information!
KO and placement matches:
24.05.2026 U10 (age group 2016)
31.05.2026 U11 (age group 2015)
There will be a round of 16, quarter-final, semi-final and final match for places 1-16, 17-32 and 33-48. Each place will be played and each team will have the same number of matches.If a game ends in a draw, there is a penalty shoot-out with 3 shooters each, if it ends in another draw, one player from each team continues to shoot until there is a decision.
Please note: no player may shoot twice before all players of a team have shot. If the teams have different numbers of players, the team with more players may shoot twice after the team with fewer players has all shot and the first player goes to the penalty spot for the second time.
The distance to the penalty spot is 9 metres
Playing time: 60 minutes (4 games of 15 minutes each)
Final:
U10: 2x10 min.
Rules:
Return pass rule: The ball may be passed back to the goalkeeper, but the goalkeeper may not pick up the ball with his hand, only with his foot.
Offside: The offside rule is cancelled, i.e. the game is played without offside.
Goalkeeper play: After a goal kick (goalkeeper is not allowed to take the ball in his hands) or if the ball has been caught by the goalkeeper with his hands, he can also kick the ball directly over the halfway line without the ball having been touched by another player.
Free kick: there are direct and indirect free kicks, the distance to the wall is 7 metres
Group placement/ tables - final result:
IMPORTANT: If there is a tie after the preliminary round, the direct duel between the two teams will decide. If the direct duel ends in a draw, the better goal ratio will decide. If there is also a tie here, the more goals scored will decide. If there is a tie again, a penalty shootout must decide the group placement, which takes place immediately after the last group match.
Prices:
The respective winner in the age group will receive an invitation to participate in next year's tournament including free accommodation/meals for 14 players and 2 coaches at U10.
In the final the "Player of the match" will be honored.
We ask all teams/players to be present at the award ceremony.
Lunch at the tournament site:
We offer pasta with dilution juice/water for each team (players and coaches) at a flat rate of € 75,-/day.
Changing facilities:
Please understand that due to the large number of clubs, changing facilities are limited. No liability is assumed for valuables and clothing. The respective team managers we also offer to leave the locker room as it was found.

We also ask that you consider fair play. Participation in the Chairman Cup should be an experience for the children that they should look back on positively for the rest of their lives.
